Yes, good idea. Keep in mind, "The Oprah" must have vast knowledge of the material and must be willing.

For a veteran trader it should not be too difficult a job. Hopefully, there is 1 noble head out there who would enjoy the task.

Also, "The Oprah" title can be passed-on. If the sitting "TO" feels there is a worthy subject, the mantle may be passed.

Hey Now - Please chime in if you are interested in this group.

Whether or not you have a potential "TO" to nominate, we'd like to know how many "members" we might have.

My family will definetly participate. We listen to lots of music each weekend around here.

my Daughter used to like the Dead,FOTD and lazy river road where her favorites, now she's 8 and thinks she's cooler. My son (5 ) still loves them. My daughter has decided she hates Sugaree so now my son takes great joy in requesting it everytime we're in the car.

Both of them seem to take a morbid fascination at the fact that Jerry was missing part of a finger.

It is really great that you are all on-board. AND, it is super to hear about all the kids who are hearing this stuff. WE are the ones who are perpetuating this legacy. Ya think Rhino has the 3-15 year-olds demographic in mind for their marketing? Doubt it. A pat on the back to all you GD mommies and daddies out there!

Hi Blkpeter - I simply don't have the knowledge-base to be "TO". My collection is modest in size, so I don't have years and years of experience lisetning to 100's of tapes. There are some here with vast collections which have been accumulated over many years. I feel that a person who fits this description should be "TO".

However, if that person doesn't surface here, sure I'll do it. As long as you guys will play along...

Lets' wait and see...

I'm interested. I can only stream here at work, my connection is too slow at home. Hopefully we'll listen to all years and just one era ( especially not heavy on mid 80's or late 90's sorry )although I'd like a healthier portion of 70's and 89-91
